Sartoria Artigiana

La Sartoria Artigiana for conscious bodies.

The project

Sartoria Artigiana is an artisanal tailoring atelier specializing in made-to-measure garments, created by Giulia Merlini.
Giulia has built a space where she can combine the work of pattern maker and tailor, one in which clients take part in the creative process, guided with skill and experience.
Giulia selects shapes and materials with passion, blending technology and tradition with creativity, and seeking alternatives to the dominant fast-fashion culture, thus creating unique, long-lasting garments that care for the bodies they were designed for, bodies aware of their own worth and of the worth of what clothes them.
Because we are varied beings, and no one is standard. That’s why we deserve better garments, garments that resemble us, that make us feel at ease in every situation and for every occasion.

For Giulia, we optimized the mark-logotype, adding a few original touches to a logo already full of personality, with the addition of the typical 4-hole button motifs in colors most in keeping with the Sartoria’s style.

Building on this, we then created a pattern combining fabric textures, polychrome pattern-piece shapes, and the marks and tools used in the trade.
This is how the new brand identity was born, starting from the fundamental elements of the corporate image (business card, garment labels and some tidying up of Google My Business), all the way to the new website and communication on social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram, thanks also to the great skill of another image artist, photographer Gianluca Gasperoni.
A high-profile approach with a Slow style.
