The proposed visual identity translates into imagery the underlying idea of the Citt\u00e0 Romagna project as a unified whole, made up of interconnected and interdependent points. The underlying pattern, which ideally traces the map of the Region, always remains as a background framework, in some cases more visible, in others perceptible only on a subtler level.
\nThe three provincial cities of Romagna become the points of convergence within the identity system, the pivots on which the embryonic network of connections is built, a network that will go on to promote and launch future initiatives.<\/p>\n

The visual identity is specifically designed to work alongside other graphic “signs” capable of identifying the region’s main sectors and individual distinctive features.
\nThe underlying grid lends itself to hosting and “connecting” different elements: transport, brought to life along the Via Emilia; the landscape, indicating the hilly region; the agri-food heritage, represented by a yellow ear of wheat; the tourism offering, translated into waves and beach umbrellas; and finally, the historical, cultural and artistic heritage, ideally summed up in the image of an abstract sculpture.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In the specific cases where needed, the visual identity system is designed to work harmoniously across all of its elements, with no overlapping of shapes or colors, but rather completing the overall idea of the territory, delivering a balanced and cohesive image.
\nThis project is the response to a call for tenders issued by Confindustria Romagna, which LeMatite embraced with enthusiasm. It is a shared, open-ended path to project the territory into the future, unleashing the potential of a region that brings together 4,000 businesses employing more than 104,000 workers.
\nThe region’s rich economic heritage is represented by the classic industry icon, familiar to the public imagination.<\/p>\n<\/div>
